The countdown is over. This weekend, La Spezia is ready to welcome fans of sport, nature, and cycling for the Cinque Terre Passion Ride 2026. A weekend that promises to blend adrenaline with magic, transforming Piazza Europa into the beating heart of an event involving athletes, cycling legends, and families.

The celebration begins on Saturday, May 9th at 9:00 AM with the village grand opening. The morning will come alive with the “Bici in Asta” charity event and, at 10:30 AM, with the Social Ride alongside champions such as Paolo Bettini and Silvia Parietti. For those who prefer to stay on solid ground, a cultural tour is scheduled to discover the city’s Liberty-style hidden gems and its rich history.

The highlight is set for Sunday, May 10th. At 8:30 AM, the challenge begins on two routes: “Pesto” and “Focaccia”. The first is dedicated to lovers of iconic climbs, while the second is designed for those who wish to enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the sea. As cyclists tackle the Riviera’s elevation changes, the city will celebrate Mother’s Day with the “Gioca con la Mamma” initiative, featuring creative workshops and entertainment for the little ones.

The event will conclude on Sunday afternoon with a final refreshment break and official awards at 3:30 PM.
