SHORT ROUTE
The essence of the Cinque Terre in an intense loop.
The departure point is La Spezia, with a gradual approach leading to Marinasco and Foce, where the road immediately begins to climb and the view opens up onto the Gulf. After this first section, the route enters the hinterland towards Ricco del Golfo di Spezia, along quiet roads and stretches that are ideal for finding your own pace. The climb to Pizzo Cuchelone is the heart of the route: steady but challenging, it requires careful management of your effort. Once you have passed the highest point, the road leads to Pignone, offering a smoother stretch that allows you to recover before returning to the coast. From here, you head directly to Monterosso, where the landscape changes again: the sea reappears suddenly and the most iconic stretch of the route begins. The scenic road crosses the entire Cinque Terre, connecting Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola, and Riomaggiore, with curves suspended over the sea, terraced vineyards, and views that make every kilometer unique. The final climb to Monte della Madonna is the last act before returning to La Spezia.
LONG ROUTE
Between sea and secret ridges.
The route starts in La Spezia, with the first few kilometers already challenging, designed to warm up your legs before the climb to Marinasco and Foce, where the view immediately begins to reward your efforts. The road becomes quiet as it enters the hinterland, heading towards Ricco del Golfo di Spezia, through woods and shaded stretches that invite you to find your own pace. The most challenging climb leads to Pizzo Cuchelone, which will test you with constant gradients, kilometers that require patience and energy management. Once over the hill, the route continues towards Pignone, offering a smoother stretch before pushing on again to the junction where you turn right towards Levanto. The long descent towards the sea is one of the most rewarding moments of the route, fast and scenic. From here begins the iconic stretch: the coastal return to Monterosso, with the scenic road hugging the sea and accompanying you through all the splendor of the Cinque Terre. Vernazza, Manarola, and Riomaggiore follow one another amid poetic views, terraced vineyards, and the scent of the sea always nearby. The final climb to Monte della Madonna is the last obstacle before returning to La Spezia, which marks the end of the itinerary.

Saturday, May 9
Experience the magic of the suspended villages.
An unforgettable experience in the Cinque Terre and Montemarcello Park
– From 7.00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. – Meeting point at Piazza Europa, La Spezia
Welcome to participants, registration, and distribution of race packs. A chance to meet other cyclists and soak up the weekend atmosphere.
– 10:00 a.m. – Departure for the ride to Montemarcello
A guided ride through scenic roads and trails in the Park, surrounded by the colors of the Mediterranean scrub and discovering secret views of the sea. An opportunity to immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes with calm and wonder.
– 12:00 p.m. – Lunch and guided walk through the villages
A cultural break to visit the small villages suspended between sky and sea, learn about local history, and taste the typical products of the area.
– 3:00 p.m. – Departure of the second group for the ride to Montemarcello
A guided bike ride through scenic roads and trails in the park, surrounded by the colors of the Mediterranean scrub and discovering secret views of the sea. An opportunity to immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes with calm and wonder.
– 6:00 p.m. – Aperitif in the square and operational briefing
Return to La Spezia for a convivial moment in the square, with an aperitif and updates on the next day’s routes. An opportunity to receive all the technical information and experience the atmosphere of the race.

Challenge, views, and adrenaline.
The cycling tour that takes participants on a journey to discover the wonders of the Riviera di Levante.
– 7:00 a.m. – Meet and breakfast at Piazza Europa
Prepare and check your bike before departure, where you can chat with other participants and enjoy the pre-departure atmosphere.
–From 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – Meeting point and race pack collection in Piazza Europa
Race pack collection and bike check before the start, where you can have breakfast with the other participants and enjoy the pre-start atmosphere.
– 9:00 a.m. – Departure of the medium and long routes.
Two routes designed for cyclists of all levels that will take you through iconic climbs and scenic descents. An opportunity to challenge yourself, share your passion for cycling, and experience an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Cinque Terre.
– 1:00 p.m. – Arrival at Piazza Europa and pasta party
Recharge your batteries, share your emotions, and capture unforgettable memories.
– 2:00 p.m. – Bike auction in the square
An event open to all participants and the public, organized with the support of the Municipality of La Spezia. An opportunity for celebration, solidarity, and involvement of the local community.
– 3:30 p.m. – Official closing of the event
Final farewells, awards, and thanks to all participants and sponsors.
